APS NR MUN
Conference begins in
About The Conference
As the first-ever APS Model United Nations conference in the Central Command, Army Public School NR MUN is proud to welcome emerging diplomats on 29–30 August 2026. Over two days of committee work, negotiation, and formal debate, delegates will engage with real international questions while learning to write, persuade, collaborate, and lead with substance.
Rooted in the enduring ethos of the Indian Army, APSMUN is envisioned not merely as a conference, but as a tradition in the making — where diplomacy is practised with integrity, leadership is exercised with purpose, and every delegate contributes to something greater than a single committee.
The Legacy
Established in 1981, Army Public School, Nehru Road, Lucknow has grown into one of the premier institutions under the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES). Originally founded to serve the educational needs of children of Army personnel stationed in Lucknow, the institution was elevated to the status of an Army Public School in 1986 and affiliated with CBSE in 1987. Today, spread across 22 acres, the school stands as a symbol of academic excellence and enduring values.
For over four decades, the school has remained steadfast in its commitment to nurturing generations of learners through an educational philosophy that extends beyond academic achievement, fostering intellectual curiosity, leadership, and character.
The launch of APS NR MUN marks yet another step in the school's enduring commitment to holistic education, conceived as a platform for diplomacy, critical inquiry, and leadership.
The Vision
As we begin this journey, APS NR MUN represents the beginning of an initiative dedicated to fostering diplomacy, leadership and critical thinking among the leaders of tomorrow.
Supported by Army Public School, Nehru Road, Lucknow—an institution with over four decades of excellence in education, recognized as the highest-performing Large Category Army Public School in India for Academic Excellence.
Through research, negotiation, collaboration, and informed deliberation, delegates cultivate confidence, analytical thinking, diplomacy, and leadership—qualities that extend well beyond the committee room.
